Designer’s Vision
After the overwhelming success of WildHunt, designer RainBlade returns with his second limited production work: Threspex.
The name comes from its ingenious folding geometry—when closed, the spine of the blade perfectly aligns with the bottom edge of the handle, achieving a seamless, fully concealed profile.
RainBlade envisioned a knife that is elegant yet solid, minimalistic yet playful—a gentleman’s folder designed for daily carry, fidgeting, and long-lasting fascination.
Design & Deployment
Dual opening systems:
- A subtle back flipper, nearly hidden in form.
- A front flipper inspired by the motion of a lighter.
A unique integral handle structure—RainBlade’s personal obsession.
- He has long been fascinated by the purity and strength of integral builds, and with Threspex, he challenged himself to bring this demanding construction into a slimmer, more compact form.
- Paired with the superior strength of TC21 titanium, this integral design ensures Threspex is not only elegant and refined, but also maxed out in performance and reliability.
Material Advantage
Threspex is crafted from TC21 titanium alloy, a cutting-edge upgrade over traditional TC4 (Ti-6Al-4V).
While TC4 is a proven aerospace-grade alloy, TC21 delivers ~25% higher specific strength, better crack resistance, and superior durability.
By adopting TC21, we move ahead of the curve—giving Threspex unmatched strength, toughness, and long-term reliability.
