Many knife enthusiasts share a fascination with the blade-to-handle ratio — that pursuit of pushing a folding knife’s proportions to the very edge, where every millimeter of exposed blade feels like a victory in design.
ZYACKNIVES has long walked this path of mechanical refinement. Following their first experimental model, the Z01, (Many of you may have seen it on the market before).

They return with a more evolved and elegantly engineered successor — the Z01S.

The Z01S introduces a unique sliding/extendable handle mechanism. When the knife is closed, the handle extends outward, allowing the blade to nest deeper within the frame. Once opened, the mechanism retracts and locks, compacting the handle into its shortest functional form.

This inversion of conventional folding geometry gives the Z01S an exceptional blade-to-handle ratio — a compact 130mm closed length paired with a full 208mm open profile. It’s a structural innovation that transforms efficiency into visual harmony.

Crafted from TC4 titanium with stonewashed stainless steel liners, and featuring an M390 blade hardened to 59–61 HRC, the Z01S delivers both strength and precision in every detail.
Two blade options are available — Drop Point and Tanto, each tuned for distinct cutting characteristics.

The Z01S isn’t just a refinement of its predecessor — it’s a statement in motion, where engineering and instinct finally meet in balance.
